The OCM team is headed up by Bryony Jackson and Lara Cunanan. They have worked closely together in the education event industry for over 10 years in the UK and internationally and know what is needed to create, market and deliver the very best events.
A bit about Bryony…
While studying for a degree in Psychology at Bangor University, I took on a temp role with a leading education event management company in my hometown of Oxford. Little did I know, eight years later my initial job as the photocopying assistant would evolve into their Operations Manager responsible for delivery of over 10 international events each year. It’s this experience and knowledge that has led me to establish OCM.
What I loved about my job then is exactly what I love about my job now, bringing together the finer details of complex ideas and turning them into experiences that attendees truly enjoy.
Outside of work you can find me herding my toddler around Oxfordshire or at equestrian events around the country.
A bit about Lara…
Originally from the USA, I moved to the UK to complete my Master’s degree at the University of York. After developing my skills in project management and experiential education, I joined Bryony at an Oxford-based education event management company.
Within that role I developed a passion for engaging young people in opportunities that help them expand their perspective and widen their experience. I enjoy helping organisations identify how best to communicate with their audience and engage people in their events. It is this energy and enthusiasm that I bring to my role at OCM.
In my spare time, you can find me in my kitchen teaching my children how to cook or on the road on one of many adventures.
